We Love our Community!
That’s something we have in common with everyone who lives here.
We also believe that God loves our Community. He wants it to be healthy and flourish. Everybody does. Love is an action word. So, we support and promote our community through a number of community partners.
We have a great church, but our community is much bigger than our church!

God is in the business of transforming — recreating, rebuilding, and renewing all kinds of things: Lives, friendships, marriages, organizations, cities, tribes, and nations. He invites us to participate with him in this. He calls it “following him." We call it our mission.
Our Community Partners & Initiatives
The Love Lincoln Campaign
We love our city and believe it’s a great place to live! All of us want healthy environments to raise our kids, have purpose and grow hopes and dreams for a bright future. We all want to work for the common good.
A Catholic social teaching says it this way:

The common good is the whole network of social conditions which enables humans and groups to flourish. All are responsible for all.
If all are responsible for all, then we need to examine how we take care of each other.
Unfortunately no city is perfect, people fall through the gaps and there are many places of brokenness. We experience failures, disappointments, inequality and injustice, especially amongst the poorest and most vulnerable in our communities, so it’s easy to lose hope. We see it all around us and yet it’s easy to ignore it or hide from it.
Our church, through a network of local partners, wants to make a difference. We want to follow Jesus’ example of serving, restoring and transforming those places.
We want to be visibly seen in our neighborhoods and bless our communities - that’s what The Love Lincoln Campaign is all about.
And we're just starting. We are currently working to identify those areas in Lincoln where we can step into the gaps, serve and bring restoration.

Convos Youth Zone
At Providence we are excited about our new partnership with Convos Youth Centre in Beamsville. Convos helps to explore relevant issues to the whole person, relationally, emotionally, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
Just like us at Providence, they believe that every child deserves to know that they are loved, valued, significant and have a purpose. They also believe that each child should have an opportunity to hear about the life changing teaching and acts of Jesus Christ. At Providence we look forward to our partnership together.
Community Care of West Niagara
At Providence we understand that there are seasons in our life when we need help financially, with food donations or clothing. We want to be a compassionate church. That’s why our ongoing relationship with Community Care of West Niagara is so important to us. They help people who are experiencing financial difficulties due to job loss, illness or other hardships.
Grimsby Life Centre
Providence Church is not just a building it’s a group of people from all walks of life who live all throughout our community. In life’s journey all people experience life’s ups and downs. We are not meant to go through life alone. Grimsby Life Center is an important partner for us because they offer all kinds of counselling that bring help, hope and healing.
